The always intriguing StatsPanda has tweeted a fascinating chart with data from Pollstar about the highest grossing music tours of all time.
It's worth noting that the numbers don't account for inflation, but Taylor Swift's Eras Tour has - currently - placed her at the top of the all-time money-making list for concert tours. But could she be pipped by Beyonce when her tour stats are finally in?
What's interesting is that older artists are on this list, but only for recent tours. There's no Michael Jackson or Prince at the height of their powers in the '80s or '90s, which is likely to do with the price of tickets skyrocketing in the Ticket Master monopoly era.
Here's the list, from 1 to 10:
Taylor Swift - "Eras Tour" (2023-2024)
Elton John - "Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour" (2018-2023)
Ed Sheeran - "Divide Tour" (2017-2019)
U2 - "360° Tour" (2009-2011)
Coldplay - "Music of the Spheres World Tour" (2022-2024)
Harry Styles - "Love on Tour" (2021-2023)
Guns N' Roses - "Not in This Lifetime Tour" (2016-2019)
The Rolling Stones - "A Bigger Bang Tour" (2005-2007)
The Rolling Stones - "No Filter Tour" (2017-2021)
Coldplay - "A Head Full of Dreams Tour" (2016-2017)
